The proposed Low Traffic Neighbourhood will destroy our streets. Oppose it before the 9th October 2025 deadline.
STOP the SBLN: How South Bristol Residents Can Take ACTION Now
The proposed South Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood (SBLN) will negatively transform the streets of South Bristol by disrupting daily commutes, local businesses, and access to areas such as those listed below. The movement of cars and other vehicles including emergency services will be restricted and heavily controlled.
Some of the proposed 11 areas to have roads blocked off include:
Southville | Bedminster | Windmill Hill
Ashton Vale | Malago Vale | Part of Totterdown
Bristol City Council’s plan, detailed in their consultation here, aims to create a Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN), which will lead to congestion and restricted movement.
With the consultation closing at midnight on 9th October 2025, now is the time to act.
